When Lahaina's canal
was completed, a government- regulated market was
built in the middle of the waterway where all trade
between Hawaiians and foreign ships was conducted.
Some of Lahaina's many grog shops were in this
area, described often by visiting seafarers as "Rotten
Row."
Back to Front Street
and a short walk to the Episcopal
Church.
